East Fork State Park features a lake, camping facilities, and hiking trails for outdoor enthusiasts. The park offers bass, crappie, catfish, and hybrid striped bass fishing opportunities. Boating is allowed on the 2,160-acre William Harsha Lake with unlimited horsepower.

The park’s diverse terrain includes dry-forested hills, rocky cascades, abandoned farmlands, and marshy grasslands. Its woodlands include beech, sugar maple, red and white oak, shagbark hickory, and wild black cherry while swamp forests feature silver maple, American elm, sycamore, and black gum.

Hikers can explore miles of trails that wind through wildflower prairies and through thick oak-hickory forests. The park also has a swimming beach.

The park is also home to many wildlife species, including white-tailed deer, squirrels, rabbits, foxes, and songbirds. Pets are allowed on the campground and hiking trails but must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet.

The park offers 2 archery ranges. One consists of 6 lanes with static targets at 20, 30, 40, and 50-yard distances. The other consists of 3D targets at varying distances.

Fishing at the park is popular, with catches of largemouth bass, crappie, and bluegill often reported. Boaters can enjoy the park’s expansive lake with a wide variety of boats available.
